Ahorn

High Valley Z

In High Valley Z two highly valued Holstein lineages, 242 and 776, are combined. Sire Ahorn (Nimmerdor) jumped at international level under Roelof Bril and produced several offspring active in the international sport, such as Dublin (Astrid Wöss), Feisal (Mario Deslauriers), Icamorka (Jerry Smith) and Ivoor (François Mathy jr.). High Valley Z`s dam Urika was imported from Holstein into the Netherlands. This mare, from lineage 776, produced, besides High Valley Z, also the successful S-level jumper Aljosha (Ahorn) and the German-licensed stallion Nobel Boy (Ahorn). Urika`s sire Conte was also an international jumper and son of the legendary thoroughbred Cottage Son from lineage 95.

Grandam of High Valley Z is the famous mare Erika, who produced various top-sport horses through her daughters; also Nadine Capellmann`s international dressage stallion My Lord (Masetto) is a grandson of Erika. High Valley Z has become one of Jos Lansink`s fixed assets in the international arena over the past years. Major sport achievements of High Valley Z are, for example, the 1998 Dutch Championship, 3rd in the Brussels Grand Prix, 6th in the Maastricht and Mechlin Grand Prix, 2nd in the Amsterdam Grand Prix and numerous victories with the Dutch team such as last years Nations Cup in Rotterdam.
